About

Mediflash understands the importance of, and the ever-growing emphasis being placed on, Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII). As a conduit between medical facilities, insurance companies and patients through which this type of information flows, Mediflash has focused heavily on employing only the most current technology to facilitate the interaction between the medical facilities from which we obtain records, the requestors of those records and the hard-working individuals servicing the requests. All the while, we focus our attention on protecting the medical information we access with compliance to high security standards as well as the peace of mind of our ultimate customer – the patient.

With such high standards required by federal regulations in the form of HIPAA (the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act established through legislation in 1996) and HITECH (Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health entered into legislation in 2009 as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act), we ensure the protection of our data by using a Microsoft Azure, Gold Certified data center that is SSAE 16 SOC Type 3 certified and has the highest measures of security.

But we don’t stop there. All of our employees must undergo rigorous yearly training to ensure that they are up-to-date on their responsibility pertaining to sensitive personal and medical information. With our conscientious pool of workers treating every patient’s data like it belonged to family, we take very seriously the need to keep that information private.

Partners of Mediflash can rest assured knowing that experts in security and technology are constantly upkeeping our networks, hardware, and software, which enables us to quickly retrieve and safely manage your medical information.
